Fruity | 6,5% | 37,5cl

Oude Kriek Boon is prepared in the traditional way by fermenting sour cherries with a one-year-old lambic. 400 grams of cherries per litre and maturation in oak barrels are necessary to obtain this special beer.

It has a sweet and sour taste but is a fresh fruity beer in which the Lambic is clearly present. Oude Kriek Boon has a dark red colour and a naturally pinkish-red froth from the cherries.

In 1975, inspired by the history of the Old Gueuze, Frank Boon decided to take over the business of the last Gueuze cutter in Lembeek, René De Vits, who had no successor. This Oude Kriek is one of the delicious fruit beers of the Boon brewery.

Brewed in Flemish Brabant
